Not sure if that has anything to do with this either.The problem is not new and can arise due to several reasons. I am updated to the latest drivers through NVIDIA for that. Anyone have any ideas? Restarted, then reinstalled the Realtek HD audio drivers separately and still had the same issue. Uninstalled all Realtek HD audio drivers, as well as ALL NVIDIA drivers. Removed panel on tower, and ensured that the HDA cable was plugged in at the correct spot on the motherboard (JAUD1).Ħ. Tried switching between front panel jacks, and rear panel jacks. Ensured that "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" was checked in the Windows Playback device menu was checked.Ĥ. Ensured that HD Audio is enabled in my BIOS.ģ. Installed most recent Realtek HD Audio Driver from MSI site.Ģ. Here is a list of the troubleshooting that I've done thus far:ġ. Windows doesn't even detect that my headphones are plugged into the front panel audio in. I installed the new mobo and CPU, however, none of my audio jacks are working. I just recently purchased an MSI Z87-G55 mobo, with an i7 4770k CPU.
